No Kings Millis

The Millis DTC is leading the NoKings demonstration in Millis June 14 from 11:00am - 12:00pm at the intersection of 109&115. Sign up here. Find other NoKings events throughout the country here. We encourage people to attend multiple standouts in the area such as Norfolk (8:45-9:45) and Holliston (12:00-1:00). The Middlesex-Norfolk-Worcester Action Hub as a suggested itinerary here. So far 41 people have signed up. Given past history, that means there will be 80 - 100 actual participants.

We will make signs at our Tuesday June 10 6:30pm meeting in Room 130 of Town Hall. As a courtesy we invited Sherborn demonstrators to join our sign making.

The demonstration is a priceless opportunity to make new connections that we must build on. We need those connections to keep up the pressure on the lawless regime in D.C.

The organizers would appreciate the following assistance from DTC members:

  1. Volunteers to be corner captains. There are four corners on which people will gather. As a corner captain you will meet & greet people, ask for the reason to be there, give handouts, discuss how they can remain active, and request their contact information. 
  2. Volunteers to read up on some basic safety and deescalation training. These are some links provided by Indivisible:

  3. Bring pride and/or US flags taped to your signs or in your hand. A sea of flags stumps the Trumpers leaving them with no statement of their views other than empty Trump flags.
